Pet Medical Center donates to several animal-related charities that benefit domesticated animals and wildlife conservation. In addition, Dr. Herman donates to many community-based charities in Indian River County.
Dr. Herman strives to remain at the forefront of technology to provide his clients with the highest-quality care available anywhere. Pet Medical Center was the first facility in Indian River County to offer the option of the surgical laser, which reduces pain, bleeding, and inflammation. In addition, Dr. Herman was the first to offer ultrasound technology in conjunction with a telemedicine system for rapid specialist consultation. The result? Quicker diagnosis and, thus, less time between presentation to the office and treatment for your pet; the telemedicine system allows Dr. Herman to confer with various specialists all over the United States and the patient receives specialists' opinions without ever leaving Vero Beach.
